摘要:Posting a Website on the Internet is not sufficient to promote business successfully. It is well-known that users mainly enter Websites only if they are listed among the first two search engine result pages. Search engine optimization is a set of steps to be performed in order to be well ranked by search engines. This is a continuous process and consists of two main groups of steps called on-page optimization and off-page optimization. This paper deals with several aspects of on-page optimization of Websites in practice. A survey is conducted on a sample of approximately 500 top 5 Google ranked Websites for relevant Keywords from different categories and countries
