摘要:In addition to computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) provides w ide range of physiological and anatomical information. In the process of detection of tumor in MRI, segmentation plays vital role for partitioning an image into different subregion w ith homogeneous properties. In this paper various methods that have been used for segmentation in MRI are reviewed and a new app roac h by incorporating the advantages of Mean shift and Normalized cut (NCut) method is also included
