摘要：The transmission of multimedia data such as imagevideo and audio file take huge amount of time and memory.but For the increase the efficiency of transmission andstorage image compression is required. In current researchtrend various image compression techniques or method areused such as JPEG-2000, RLZ, DCT, wavelet and othermethod. This method is very efficient in image compression,but the structures of image are not change so compressiontechnique suffered from a problem of quality degradation.
