摘要：The shared nature of wireless network makes easy foran adversary to launch various attacks in the network. Amalicious node can continually transmit a radio signal in order toblock any legitimate access to the medium and/or interfere withreception. This act is called jamming and the malicious nodes arereferred to as jammers. Jamming techniques vary from simpleones to more sophisticated. Wireless networking plays animportant role in civil as well as military applications. It is criticalto ensure that the data going through network is visible oraccessible only to legitimate users and not to the intruders.Jamming and eavesdropping are the two basic attacks at thephysical layer. Physical layer characteristics have been consideredas potential alternative to provide security services in wirelessnetworks. There are various non-cryptographic ways availablewhich can be used for security of the wireless network. This paperpresents a novel approach for the better performance of thenetwork
