摘要:Image registration is among the important imageprocessing procedures in remote sensing and it has been studiedand developed for a long time. However, still now, it is rare to findan accurate, robust, and automatic image registration methodbecause the resulting image is often affected by change of scalesand change of illumination, poles etc. At present, high resolutionremote sensing images have made it more convenient for people tostudy the earth; however, they also bring some challenges for thetraditional research methods. In terms of image registration,there are some problems with using current image registrationtechniques for high resolution images, namely: (a) preciselylocating control points is not as simple ; (b) manually selecting thelarge number of control points required for precise registration isdifficult task; (c) high data volume will badly affect the processingspeed in the image registration; and (d) local geometric distortioncannot be removed very well using traditional image rmethods even with enough control points. Based on these reasons,the need for an image registration approach that will resolve theseproblems is necessary. This paper proposes a new imageregistration technique, which is based on the combinatiobased registration method and match support parameter basedmatching method. This can be called as a hybrid approach. Localdistortions caused by terrain can be greatly reduced in thisprocedure
