摘要：This paper proposes an efficient motion detection andcrowd counting system based on background subtraction usingdynamic threshold and fuzzy logic. Here two methods are usedeffectively for object detection followed by people counting. Indynamic threshold based object counting, morphological processand filtering are used effectively for unwanted pixel removal fromthe background. Along with this dynamic threshold, abackground subtraction algorithm is introduced for temporallydynamic texture scenes using a clustering-based feature, calledfuzzy color histogram (FCH), which has an ability of greatlyattenuating color variations generated by background motionswhile still highlighting moving objects for efficient peoplecounting.
