摘要:The web-based learning platform "GLOKAL Change" (www.glokalchange.de), which iscurrently developed at the University of Education Heidelberg, Germany, highlights fourtopics of environmental changes in terms of sustainable development. In interactive learningmodules, adolescents aged 10 to 16 years learn to evaluate economic, ecological and socialimpacts of recent environmental changes occurring in different geographic areas worldwideand in Germany. Information is provided by remote sensing data and other media. Userscompare, visually analyze and interpret satellite imagery to obtain spatial information on thedevelopment of the three dimensions of sustainability. Subsequent to the example areas in themodules, learners examine their individual local surroundings at home on a satellite imagemosaic of Germany as well as by performing geo-scientific fieldwork on site. "GLOKALChange" supports an original encounter by providing worksheets and methodology papers onvarious fieldwork methods, and by the application of a micro-drone for taking their own aerialimagery.
