摘要：The essay runs through again the origin and development of prejudice and stereotype concepts, producing specific social representations, in sociology and other social sciences. In this particular case, social representations taken into account relate to conception of migrant into Italian society. Analyzing such fundamental concepts, the essay points out the outcomes of a sociolinguistic research, accomplished with verbal guise methodology. It identifies the individual’s value pattern starting from his/her reaction to precise items coming from some registered Italian and migrant voices.
