Moyamoya disease is a rare progressive occlusive disease of the internal carotid arteries. We experienced a case of general anesthesia in a patient with Moyamoya disease and sick sinus syndrome who underwent a cesarean section. General anesthesia was performed using laryngeal mask airway ProSeal™ in order to avoid the hemodynamic response to tracheal intubation. INVOS® 5100 was used to monitor the level of cerebral oxygenation. The patient was kept stable hemodynamically and her level of cerebral oxygenation was kept at the optimal level during the operation.
