摘要：L’histoire diocésaine, genre institutionnel de l’écriture de l’histoire religieuse par le clergé savant jusqu’à la fin du XIXe siècle, évolue singulièrement dans la première moitié du XXe siècle. Elle se transforme sous l’impulsion de Gabriel Le Bras, qui impose l’enquête sur les pratiques comme mode d’investigation. Son influence et les apports de la sociologie renouvellent dès lors la relation entretenue par le chercheur et l’espace étudié. Le diocèse, considéré jusqu’alors comme le territoire de l’exercice du pouvoir devient pour l’historien contemporain un territoire des pratiques et des communautés, des dynamiques internes à l’Église catholique d’aujourd’hui.
其他摘要：Diocesan history, an institutional genre practised by the learned clergy writing religious history until the end of the nineteenth century, evolved in the first half of the twentieth century. It was transformed under the impulse of Gabriel Le Bras, who imposed the survey as a means to investigate practices. His influence and the contributions of sociology have renewed the relationship between researchers and the territories they explore. From the territory of the exercise of power, the diocese has evolved into a territory of practices and communities, and of the internal dynamics of today’s Roman Catholic Church.
