摘要：In this essay, I touch upon three themes. First, I discuss the field of higher education and my views on the scholarship that we are producing within the field. Second, I discuss higher education graduate education and what contributes to sound training of doctoral students. And third, I provide commentary on how I’d like to see the field move forward.
