摘要：The analysis of economic growth and structure of oil producing countries should be conducted taking into account the factor of oil boom, its short term and long term results. Based on statistical analysis it is found that, oil boom stimulates rapid growth of economy and for the post-peak period the growth is accompanied by the scale of use of oil revenues for economic and social development goals. Rapid decrease of economic growth rates in post-peak period - for both short and long term periods should not be assessed as the manifestation of resource curse in all cases. On the other hand, countries rich in natural resources such as oil economies generally lower growth rates are not specific according to the results of empirical analysis. As the result of effect of different factors economic growth rates in individual countries for specific time periods can be relatively low.
