摘要:This study is intended to analyze the impact of workplace Design on employee’s productivity. The paper commences with a summary of how the quality of the employee’s workplace Design impacts on the level of employee’s motivation and subsequent productivity. The workplace Design impacts employee morale, productivity and engagement - both positively and negatively. The work place Design in a majority of industry is unsafe and unhealthy. People working in such Design are prone to occupational disease and it impacts on employee’s productivity. What are the key factors in the employee’s workplace Design that impact greatly on their level of motivation and productivity. The role of researcher intends to find out the relationship between workplace design and productivity. Since its conception, a number of researches have been carried out on Employee Productivity, most of them in United States of America. A visible research gap exists in the area of identification and measurement of drivers of Employee’s workplace Design and its impact on Employee Productivity. This points out the relative importance of this concept and hence the need for research on the same in the Indian context as well
