摘要：the most expressive way in which humans express their emotion is through their face. Human facial expression is an important method of communication. So retrieval of human facial expression can be used in various fields like human computer interaction, emotional analysis etc. The latest technology extracts a few prominent facial patches depending on the position of facial landmarks which are active during an emotion elicitation. These active patches can then be processed to obtain salient patches. These salient patches will contain discriminating features for classifying each pair of expressions.
