摘要：The paper patriotism is seen as a psychological category, characterized by a multiplicity of projections on the identity of the person. The analysis of personal projections on the need-motivational, behavioral, volitional and characterological features of the subject is done. When considering the projections on the value-semantic sphere of the subject of patriotism, psychological analysis of phenomena such as the patriotic views, meanings, beliefs, attitude, principles, evaluation, values and faith was given. The projection of patriotism on need-motivational sphere is presented by consideration patriotic subject. The consideration of the projection of patriotism was accompanied by the development of the author's interpretation of patriotic behavior and willingness to patriotic behavior. The identifying characteristics and the basic characteristics of patriotic behavior are established. The projection of patriotism on volitional subject was discussed on the basis of the implementation of their patriotic choice.
