摘要：Because of the ever changing information management environment, library employees need and benefit from mentoring. This article focuses on mentoring in cataloging. The three elements of effective mentoring are mentor expertise, a mentoring plan, and a good working relationship between mentor and mentee. Strategies are discussed and experiences shared.
