  • 摘要:Different resolution of remote sensing images will give rise to differentperspectivesandspatialcharacteristics. The objective of thisstudy is tocomparethe spatiotemporaldifferenceofthevegetationindex extractedfrom TMand MODISimages by timeseriesanalysis and spatialstatistics, and find the relationship amongbetween thevegetation,climate factors, coal mining etc..The studyarea is located atanarid mine area,where the mining activities and ecology reconstruction is ongoing. It is found thattheMODIS-NDVI (monthlyor 16 days) products can provide resultscloseto theNDVIderivedfrom atmosphere corrected TM images.Timeseriesanalysis found that the monthly NDVI, rainfall and temperature areconsistently subject to annual periodical rhythmunder theimpacts of coal mining. And there is asignificantcorrelationbetweenNDVI andrainfall & temperature inthearid mine area.However, MODIS-NDVI(1 km)is not suitable for spatialstatisticsfor the study areaof3200 km2, because of the coarse spatialresolution. NDVI-TM(30 m)or NDVI-MODIS (250 m)are feasible for spatialstatisticsatthis study area.Highervalue ofNDVIisaccompanied byhigher spatial variationof NDVI with asquaredcorrelationcoefficient(R2=0.6983).It is probably because thenatural arid landform wasdamagedby human activities, e.g. vegetation construction and industry
