摘要：Majorit y o f the occurrences of cardiac arrest happen out side t he hosp ital and are associated with poor survival due to delay in recognitio n and provisio n o f early cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Bystanders are often the first witness to these occurrences. Early CPR provided by t rained bystanders would play an effective role in saving the patient through the golden ho ur. So equipp ing them wit h CPR knowledge and skill will empower them to act in times o f need and improve outcomes in cardiac arrest
