摘要：O presente artigo faz uma compara..o entre os mass media e os chamados meios livres, desenvolvendo a ideia da n.o neutralidade do agente mediador. Considera que esse fator interfere diretamente no conteúdo enunciativo e que podemos associar, a partir de uma análise linguística, as fun..es pragmáticas do enunciado à condi..o estrutural da sua media..o (estrutural no sentido de como s.o compostos os meios e sua rela..o com sobredetermina..es sociopolíticas). Empreendemos uma análise dos enunciados da Rede Globo e da TV Piolho, revelando, na primeira, uma tendência à fun..o de representa..o na linguagem e, na segunda, uma tendência à fun..o expressiva. Tomamos como pressuposta a no..o de performativo (AUSTIN, 1962).
其他摘要：I present here a part of my master dissertation's research, comparing mass and free media, developing the idea of the lacking neutrality on the mediation agency. It interfers directly on the media content; we can associate, by linguistic analysis, the pragmatical functions of utterances with the structural condition of the mediation (by structural, we mean how the medium is made and its relation with social political determinations). We work on an analysis of Rede Globo and TV Piolho utterances, showing, on the first, a tendency to the representation function, and, on the last, a tendency on the expressive funcion. We take as presupposed the notion of performatives (AUSTIN, 1962).
