摘要：Purpose of this article is dedicated to addressing innovation from a person – organization point of view where the focus is on the individual and his competencies in the innovation process. Our study focuses on skills that an individual needs to successfully design new innovative ideas. The analysis includes samples from 17 countries and more than 70000 respondents. The results show that social competence, together with work, active and cognitive competence, is very important in creating innovative ideas of employees in the organization
