摘要:The following article discusses dimensions of global society and implications for adult education using the theoretical approach of evolutionary pedagogy. Global Learning is regarded as a central idea on the way to a global society characterised by acceleration, dissolution of boundaries, devaluation and liberation as well as a change from hierarchical to networked structures. Such a global society presents challenges for adult education: it is necessary to learn how to deal with confusion, uncertainty, global complexity and change. That is why Global Learning is equally learning to acquire knowledge, learning to act, learning to live with others and learning for life. From a didactic perspective, Global Learning is associated with the "change in learning culture". This change describes a new understanding of teaching and learning characterised by subject orientation. The focus is not on the conveying of goals and content from the teacher's point of view but on the acquisition by the learner. This didactic principle is no longer limited to traditional places of education and people; it enters into everyday life. It is opening itself up to deprofessionalisation and is becoming political.
