摘要：This article introduces the Austrian-wide quality framework for recognising quality in adult education (Qualitätsrahmen für Erwachsenenbildung in Österreich – Ö-Cert in German) to the general public for the first time. The quality framework aims to guarantee mutual recognition of quality assurance measures taken by educational organisations between different provinces and between the state and the provinces. Ö-Cert is a higher-level recognition procedure for previously existing quality procedures and systems. It helps to increase the transparency of the autonomous efforts in quality assurance taken by adult education institutions for those interested in educational offerings and also for funding agencies.
