摘要：The Nework of Austrian Bildungshäuser ( Bildungshäuser are educational centres with the opportunity of overnight staying) has used ISO 9001 as a quality management system since 2002. The present article describes the procedures employed during the implementation of the QM system and the formal principles that have contributed to its success: the setting-up of quality circles, the carrying out of internal audits, the appointment of quality assurance managers, and the active involvement of all employees. Particular emphasis is placed on the quality of pedagogy and especially on learning outcomes and the recording thereof. Thus, the Educational Centres’ efforts in quality improvement go beyond the ISO standard as a quality management system.
