摘要:This article investigates the question of what influence the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF) has on the professionalisation of adult education in Europe. Firstly, paradigms of the European Qualifications Framework are explained so that the question of professionalism in adult education can be dealt with. Following this, selected European approaches to professionalisation are analysed with regard to their tense relationship to EQF and professionalism: the core curriculum adult education/continuing education in Germany that makes courses of study comparable to each other; the study of key competences by the Dutch institute Research voor Belied conducted throughout all of Europe with group discussions and questionnaires; the Austrian Academy of Continuing Education ( Weiterbildungsakademie in German), a modular model for certifying and recognising adult education trainers. At the end of the article, the opportunities and problems of the EQF are summarised using these examples.
