  • 摘要:Biofilms are an important factor in resistance to disinfectants, they are difficult to eliminate and are a major source of hospital infection. In the present work, we studied the anti-biofilm effect of a disinfectant based on glutaraldehyde 2% on a strain of Acinetobacter baumannii (AB), which is one of the most incriminated bacteria in nosocomial infections in the intensive care unit of the hospital EL idrissi in Kenitra in Morocco. To do this the nature of the adhesion surface and the disinfectant action time have been investigated, we used a method based on the formation of bacterial biofilm on microplates. The total biomass of biofilm was quantified by measuring the optical density (OD) at 630 nm by an ELISA reader. We conclude that (i) the AB biofilm forms on any type of surface, hence the need to develop non-stick and antibacterial materials; (ii) the choice of disinfectant and the time of action are important in eradicating biofilms; (iii) the resistance of biofilms to disinfectant agents must be taken into account when setting the cleaning procedure.
