摘要:The wet oxidation using hydrogen peroxide combined with a solid catalyst is an efficient method of treating organic waste in dilute aqueous medium. The manganese-based catalysts supported on a Moroccan Clay has been prepared by an impregnation method in terms of evaluate their catalytic activity. Clay (Calcite area Taounate) was characterized using different techniques such as X-Ray Fluorescence, X-Ray Diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy and Infrared Spectroscopy. The experimental results indicated that the used of that system greatly improved the degradation of a cationic dye methylene blue with H 2 O 2 . The effects of catalyst dosage, dye concentration and temperature were evaluated; Experiments have demonstrated the role of these parameters. Although the MnO-Clay catalysts show higher activity, their stability and Susceptibility to reutilize still need improvement
