摘要:Supplementary cementing materials (SCMs) are commonly used in composite-based repair mortars as substituent of part of the clinker in cement or part of cement in the composite. This is beneficial to industry as it usually gives a low cost composite mortar, and has a low environmental impact. It leads to the improvement of long-term durability with sustainable development. In order to improve the durability of composite-based repair mortars containing SCMs, the impact of adding the soluble polymer (latex) on the characteristics of these mortars was assessed in aggressive environments, such as acids. Mortars with pozzolanic mineral bases, containing different latex ratios, i.e. 0.5%, 1% and 2% w , are kept in acidic solutions for various immersion periods. Analysis of the microstructure of mortars, after exposure to acid attack, is done by various analytical methods. The results obtained allow highlighting the beneficial effect of adding latex and pozzolanic additions SCMs on the modified materials as well as on the resistance to acid attack. The results obtained are promising outcomes that require a particular interest that could open up prospects for sustainable development in the future.
