  • 摘要:Claudia Moscovici is Romanian by birth. The author emigrated to theUSA when she was 11. She was professor of philosophy, art, literature andideas at Boston University (until 2002) and at Michigan University (until2008), novelist and art / literary critic. Since 2008 she was an independentwriter and art critic. She became well-known as the author of VelvetTotalitarianism (Rowman and Littlefield Publishing, 2009) a biographicalmeaningful novel about the impact of the communist regime on a Romanianfamily which survived oppression provided the force of the human innerfibre. The translation of this novel was titled in Romanian Între douã lumi,that is, Between TwoWorlds (Curtea Veche Publishing, 2011). Her worksare animated by a dual passion for political philosophy and for the Romanticand Postromantic movements present in works such as Romanticism andPostromanticism (Rowman and Littlefield Publishing, 2009), Gender andCitizenship (Rowman and Littlefield Publishing, 2000) and Double dialectics(Rowman and Littlefield Publishing, 2002. Other books are DangerousLiaisons (Hamilton Books, 2011) and The Seducer (Hamilton Books, 2012).
