摘要：MuskuloskeletalDissorders(MSDs) are conditions that cause pain and impair normal activities. MSDs isa kind of degenerative disease. Based on the observation this condition was identified at Scarfing process in Slab StellCompany. In that company Scarfing process is process conducted to find defect product and fix it.The operator shouldmove Scarfing Machine manually. Based on Nordic Body Map questionnaire operators felt pain at upper neck, leftwrist, right wrist, lower neck, waist, right elbow, and leg. For decreasing MSDs risk this research gave body posturrecommendation and machine movement method. Body posture recommendation was generated besed on Ovako WorkPosture Analysis System (OWAS). Meanwhile, Machine movement method was generated based on NIOSH.
