摘要：Emanating are new methodologies in the domain of image processing, especially when it comesconcerned with identification of many types of defects on surfaces of steel products. Manual practices yield indifficulties, time consumption and inaccuracy. Hence there is definite need of automation in this field. This paper ishighlights the results obtained after processing of the proposed methodology.
