  • 摘要:In this experimental study several steps of work has been included. Concrete cubes were made withplasticizer and without plasticizer are exposed to heat for 12 hours and as a result, undergo physical changes orspalling. This causes reduction of strength of concrete. Two concrete mixes were prepared one mix is with 2%plasticizer (sikament® 581) of cementious material and another mix is without plasticizer and cubes were prepared inmoulds. After 24 hours cubes were demoulded and they were put for curing for 7 days and 28 days. After requiredperiod of curing, residual compressive strength of concrete cubes without plasticizer were checked after exposure toheat in muffle furnace and the similar process is done with plasticizer also. The results show that rate of reduction ofresidual strength of concrete cubes with plasticizer after exposure to heat is less than that of the residual strength ofconcrete without plasticizer after exposure to heat. Therefore, this study has been carried out to generate experimentaldata on standard grade of concrete M30 and residual compressive strength of Concrete with and without Plasticizerafter exposed to elevated temperature at 200ᵒC, 400ᵒC, 600ᵒC, 800ᵒC for 12 hours.
