摘要:We present a theoretical analysis of the photorefractive response time as a function of applied electricfield in different types of photorefractive materials on the basis of Kukhtarev rate equations. We study the variation ofphotorefractive response time with grating spacing and light intensity. We also study the photorefractive response timewith grating spacing in absence of the applied electric field for KNbO3:Fe crystal and compared the results with theexperimental results. Agreement between theoretical and the experimental results are found to be reasonably good.
