摘要：The virus inhibiting potential of phytoprotein was demonstrated by the ability of phytoproteins to inhibitformation of necrotic lesions in local lesion host (hypersensitive) and delay in development of disease specificsymptoms in systemic host, when the respective treated host plants were challenged with viruses. Efficacy of viralinhibitory activity and resistance inducing ability of both phytoproteins could further be enhanced by additions ofcertain substances of biological origin. Such substances have been referred to as bio-enhancers in the dissertation.
