摘要:Germination of seeds under in vitro conditions was appreciably better in medium containingphytoproteins. These plants under natural growth conditions exhibited better resistance to infection indicating that thebeneficial effect was carried forward. Test hosts Cyamopsis tetragonoloba and Crotalaria juncea were raised in vitro,using a nutrient medium which contained the phytoproteins from B. diffusa and C. aculeatum. The in vitro raised plantswere challenge inoculated with SRV and the degree of resistance induced was evaluated in terms of reduce lesionnumber in C. tetragonoloba and reduced symptom severity in C. juncea.
