摘要:Several studies have been performed on friction stir welding of aluminum alloys and aluminum-basedcomposites. The main objective of the present research work is to perform experimental investigation of friction stirwelding (FSW) process with different rotational speeds of 1000rpm, 1200rpm, 1400rpm and welding speeds of10mm/min, 20mm/min, 30mm/min on Al-6351 alloy reinforced with aluminum oxide particles size of 2 microns withreinforcement percentages of 5%, 10%, 15% and investigate the effect of these parameters on tensile properties andmicro structure. The experimental design was carried out by using Taguchi L9 orthogonal array design andoptimization using ANOVA
