摘要:The rocket motor case is an inert or non-energy contributing missile component; the design objective isto make the case as lightweight as possible, within the bounds of technology and cost. The rocket motor casingmaterials must be lightweight and able to withstand high pressures and elevated temperatures due to the combustion ofthe fuel. In this paper, it is proposed to characterize parametrically the structural behaviour of rocket motor casing madeof carbon-epoxy composite material as well as D6AC steel material. The 3D model is developed using CATIA V5R16software and stress analysis is carried out using ANSYS 15.0 software. The carbon-epoxy material results arecompared with the D6AC steel material results to specify better efficient material.
