摘要:Wireless technology in industrial environments is considered due to potential for saving in cable cost,high flexibility in factories, tracing the products and increasing optimization of process. Optimized use of wirelesstechnology advantages is not possible without exact recognition of channel. Thus, this paper presents an exact modelto describe ultra wide band channels (UWB) based on channel impulse response based on Saleh-Valenzuelain industrialenvironments by a new cluster identification algorithm. In the model, multi-path interference, fading and frequency andtime dispersion effects were considered to increase accuracy and practicality of model. Two different approaches areconsidered for validation of proposed algorithm. In the first approach, propagation channel IEEE802.15.4a is simulatedin Matlab environment and is identified by relevant algorithm. In the second approach, by real data of measure impulseresponse of channel, algorithm efficiency is evaluated. Both mentioned approaches showed strong performance ofproposed algorithm in estimation and identification of channel in industrial environment.
