摘要：The aim of this paper is to introduce and study a new class of generalized closed sets calledψ*g*-closed sets in topological spaces using ψg - closed sets and ψ-closed sets. We analyse the relations betweenψ*g*-closed sets with already existing closed sets. The class of ψ*g*-closed sets is properly placed between theclass of ψ- closed sets and the class of g*ψ - closed sets and a chain of relation is proved as follows.r-closed→closed → ψ-closed → ψ*g*-closed→ g *ψ -closed→ ψgˆ -closed→ ψg -closed →gsp-closed
