摘要：Soil is major source of mycoflora that contain enormous kind of fungi and appropriate moisture requiredfor the growth. The study area of shivnath river have a abundant source of fungal population. Comparative study of soilfungi of shivnath river represent mainly thermo-tolerant fungi in the month of April. The diverse form of fungalcolonies obtained in both regions. Fungal growth occurs at different moisture level according to their growth habitat.The present study shows the five common fungi i.e. Aspergillus flavus, Curvularia lunata, Cladosporiumladosporioides, Fusarium oxysporium, Cunninghamella echinulata.
