摘要：The performance of a chimney type solar dryer is tested for drying chilli under the metrologicalconditions of Surat, India. The system consists of a flat plate solar collector with a drying chamber. The air, allowed toenter the dryer, through collector inlet is heated up in the solar collector and allowed to flow through the dryingchamber where it is utilized for drying i.e. removal of the moisture content from the food substance or agriculturalproduce loaded. Then its performance analysis using various parameters is carried out.
