摘要：Children are the future of a nation. Infant mortality rate is among the three indicators used to monitorachievements of the Fourth Goal of the eight Millennium Development Goals. Development of social and economicconditions of a country and the quality of life can be reflected by infant and child mortality rates. Although governmenthas started various schemes and policies for mother and child health still the decline rate in infant mortality is low.Even the rural-urban gap of infant mortality prevails. Male- female differentiation in the society is a major obstacle inthe development of our society. In this paper, we evaluate comparisons between Rural and urban infant mortality,Neonatal mortality and Post neonatal mortality in various districts of Rajasthan as per AHS (Annual Health Survey)data 2012-13.
