摘要:During last five decades, information processing systems have become powerful tools for processing the intellectual repositories of business and government organizations. Today, especially large organizations are facing the problem of maintenance of their old applications. While migrating from non-object-oriented programs into object- oriented platform, the first step is moulding the 'C' program to enable it to be amenable for the migration process. It is often s een that input to any process is required to be moulded in a particular way for the most efficient utilization of the methodology or profession to which the process belongs. C program does not have any strict indentation rules, as a result part of a statement, a statement or number of statements may be coded on one line. Thus the C program contains multistatement lines or multiline statements. Many programmers while writing the programs may use goto statements which leads to unstructuredness and cannot be handled easily. This paper proposes an approach for moulding the 'C' program in such a way that the input 'C' program will have the line numbers in the beginning of each statement or line, one line one statement, removal of comment lines, elimination of goto statements, identification of user-defined functions and attributes used by these functions
