摘要：The special issue on Information Fusion contains a collection of extended papers selected from presentations on two scientific events organized by the FP7 project "Advanced Computing for Innovation" (AComIn), Grant Agreement 316087 of Call FP7 REGPOT-2012-2013-1. The majority of papers were presented at the International Workshop on Information Fusion (IWIF'2015) that was held on 25 September 2015 in the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IICT-BAS). The workshop was aimed at addressing new challenges, sharing solutions, and discussing future research directions in Information Fusion relating mainly signal processing applications. It was also organized to spread out the AComIn project results and to present the IICT-BAS excellence at regional, national and international levels by bringing together researchers from academia and industry.
