摘要:Mechanical vibration on mobile hard disk is inevitable inthe practical usage, and violent vibration may cause disk slip withsignificant position error, which will degrade the servo controlperformance, prolong time to ready (TTR) of servo and lowerreading and writing speed of the magnetic head. The servo trackingaccuracy of hard disk drive actuator with respect to variousmechanical disturbance levels was considered. So this paperproposes an analytic method based on the motion law of magnetichead against the media in order to effectively estimate the resultingposition error prior to the seeking operation and reduce servoburden with control performance improved.
