摘要：The power, speed and sophistication of the internet as a communication medium in an information age cannot be overemphasized. Its popularity has also attracted criticism and worries over the effect of such medium on the youths. With the beam lights on youths in high schools and employing the electronic colonialism theory, this study sought to ascertain what the internet especially social media has done to and for Nigerian youths. From analysis of 200 copies of questionnaire, the findings revealed that the internet have negatively affected education, morality and culture of Nigerian youths amongst others.
