摘要:This article discusses the strategies for the implementation of the accessibility guidelines proposed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which is an international community that develops standards aiming to ensure the web growth. The Continuing Teacher Education Course in Accessible Communication and Information Technology has been the stage for study and research, as it shows the accessibility and usability difficulties of the Web systems for teachers with diverse needs, as well as it works as a corpus for analysis and automatic and manual validations in order to develop an accessible e-learning system. The knowledge field of accessibility and usability is present in the curriculum structure and in technical and methodological actions of the course, which puts the socio-digital inclusion theory into practice. When we promote a detailed analysis of the application strategies of the W3C accessibility recommendations, we are affirming to Web system developers that projects which serve the human diversity are viable and possible. Therefore, not only the research network that aims the expansion of the web is widen, but also the assurance of access to the services and contents is provided to everybody, with or without diverse needs.
