摘要:this paper presents a proposed strategy to embed the reactive power compensation system into Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for advanced smart grid. To connect the suggested regulator of power factor to SCADA system, the ordinary regulators will be replaced by new power factor regulators usingMSP430 microcontrollers as a Remote Terminal Unit (RTU). A case study will be showed for SCADA's project of the Middle Egypt Electricity Distribution Company (MEEDCO) that actually has been implemented since 2005. This paper also introduces quark hashing algorithm for MSP430 microcontroller to achieve a secure smart grid.
