摘要：The paper aims to analyze the current status of the consulting services within ourbeleagured economy, and tries to foresee the growth perspectives which this subsector maypresent for it. The accent is put on consulting, from human resources to IT, with the core elementbeing European funding, a subject which is overly debated within the media nowadays. Thepaper also tries to distinguish between the different types of consulting firms, as well as whetheror not consultance for European funds, given by Romanian consultants has been booming orjust busted, in terms of succesful projects. The main issues of the consulting sector areanalyzed, with the stated purpose of trying to propose new solutions for existing issuesconcerning business consulting in our country. The context of the current paper is given by thetrumendous accent which is being put on accelerating the absorbtion process for Europeanfunding, both by politicians and economists.
