摘要：Specimens of two crabs Macrophthalmus dentipes Lucas, 1836 and Macrophthalmus laevis A. Milne-Edwards, 1867 were collected from the intertidal zone of the lower reaches of Shatt Al-Arab at Fao region, Basrah, Iraq, 2012. A note on the morphological features of these two species and a photograph is provided to confirm the identification of the crabs.
