  • 摘要:In this study, whether employees’ perception about their managers’ humor has a mediating role on the effect of positive and negative affectivity on task and contextual performance is investigated. In this study, as appropriate with this aim, a model was constituted and hypotheses were developed. To test the hypotheses, a research was conducted on 761 individuals working at various occupations and sectors. According to the research results, a. positive affectivity has a positive relation with contextual performance; b. negative affectivity has a negative relation with both task and contextual performance; c. there is a positive relation among positive affectivity and perceived supervisor’s humor, and a negative relation between negative affectivity and perceived supervisor’s humor; ç. perceived supervisor’s humor has a partial mediating role on the effect of positive affectivity on contextual performance; d. perceived supervisor’s humor has a significant partial role on the effect of negative affectivity on task and contextual performance, are determined
